2009… The Year of Eka!

If you are a hardcore Friends’ fan, you must remember what Joey Tribbiani shouted in 1999 New Year’s Eve episode. It was, “1999! The Year of Joey!”

So, in a memorial of Joey Triabbiani and an inspiration from my officemate, Kenny, who declares that 2009 is his “Tahun Bekerja Keras dan Mencari Uang Sebanyak Mungkin”, I hereby declare 2009 as “The Year of Eka! Stop Whining, Value Life, Work and Learn Harder, and Save for Wedding”

I thought resolutions are kind of lame and last only a couple of weeks, that if you’re lucky enough, so I changed it with theme. Start with a yearly strategic theme then translated into monthly operational actions with Key Performance Indicators to measure the progress. Hmm… seems like I’m starting to understand my job. Ahahahaha!

So, is it gonna be a wedding soon? Hm… can’t tell you. Just keep reading my blog, ‘cause it’s gonna be legen… wait for it… dary!

I Shall Return!

I’m still adapting to a new life cycle. Having something to do (oh really?! WHAT exactly do you do for living, eKa?!) from 8 to 5 on weekdays, sure changes my life ’cause that means I’ll feel drowsy by 10 at night. And having somewhere to go on the weekends (Bandung, of course) also kind of take a lot of my me-time.

So, readers, I’m sorry I haven’t updated this blog with your favorite trash for so long, ’cause I’m still looking for a perfect time to write. And also a perfect internet connection. In a perfect room (’cause my current room is like a microwave oven in a heated hell).

So, be patient, dear readers. I’m gonna go all bitchy and dewi-persik-y (read: so unnecessarily slutty and makes you vomit hard) again, soon.
