The King Is Dead

Michael Jackson a.k.a. The King of Pop slash The King of Plastic Surgery was reported dead after arriving coma at UCLA Medical Center, from what seems like a cardiac arrest. Despite the speculation that he might have died several years ago, the fact that his legendary plastic surgery has failed him, the child molesting issue, and the downfall of his carrer, he definitely will be missed by billions of people around the world. This makes everyone, including me, playing his old hits today (Beat It is the best!) and recalling our memories about him.

Well, it’s time to say goodbye, MJ! You may be GONE TOO SOON, but remember, YOU’RE NOT ALONE ‘cos we’ll keep on ROCK WITH YOU till the end!

Been Stuck In My Head Lately

I watched Ghost Town a couple of weeks ago and this song has been stuck in mind since. Perfect for a rainy, lazy, galau afternoon at the office.

The movie itself was pretty good. Kinda funny in a gloomy way…. How can something be gloomy and funny at the same time? Figure out yourself.

Well, bottom line is, listen to song and watch the movie. Both are recommended.

Enough Is Enough!!

The followings are songs that have reached the level where sanity is no longer present while you’re listening to them. I can feel my head swelling and it’s about to explode any minute I hear any of them again….

I don’t know the title and couldn’t care less.

2. Kepompong by Sindentosca
I don’t even get the metaphor! And it’s annoyingly ubiquitous!

And…

I can’t believe I say this… OMG, I never thought I’d feel this sick of this song because I enjoyed it. I love her work. But, apparently, she’s right, everything has expiry date or at least a timeout to keep you sane. Or maybe it’s because the press coverage…. You know… book, album, and divorce coming out at once is kinda overwhelming for regular people like me. Oh, I don’t know….

3. Malaikat Juga Tahu by Dewi Lestari
Oh, for crying out loud!!!!!!!! Stop playing this song!!!!!!!

But I have a new favorite: Layang-Layang by Overload Romance! Hope this could last without making my ear torn apart….
