Yes, it’s me, Anastha Eka, 25 yo, the wife of a man goes by the initial RK (oh who am I kidding? you all know his name).
I wish I could say that being married is as easy as changing your relationship status in Facebook. I also wish I could say that deciding to settle in a married life is such a life-changing decision ever made. All I can say that it feels…. strange. Before the wedding all the thrill, the frenzy, the freak-out moments, came altogether like a wave, then drifted slowly and left you with a strange indescribable feeling. After the akad ceremony, suddenly all of those panicky, frenzy feelings disappear out of the blue. You don’t feel too excited, nor too afraid. You just feel… strange. And weird.
But you knew that this was not going to be something you regret. You just realized, that every step, every decision, every move you make from the day of your wedding must be taken with a very careful consideration. You can see yourself, not bearing burden, but taking responsibilities… for as long as you both shall live.
